Sara & James {married}

When: July 21, 2019

Where: Driscoll Estate, Taylorsville, KY

Who: Sara and James

Why: Wedding Day!

I remember meeting with Sara and her mother last fall at a coffee shop to talk about what they were planning for their wedding.  Sara told me that she was drawn to me because of our mutual interest in hiking and sushi (I LOVE some sushi, guys.  It's my love language.).  Oh, and that I'm organized. But, I remember that she wanted someone to photograph the wedding that enjoyed the outdoors since they were getting married on a beautiful property outside of Louisville, Kentucky, complete with rolling hills and a barn for the reception.  What a dream!

The day of the wedding there were scattered thunderstorms throughout the entire day, but Sara, James and the entire wedding party had the best attitudes about it, along with being incredibly fun to work with!  We were literally running back and forth from the barn to the grassy fields in between the showers with umbrellas.  They were determined to have outdoor pictures and an outdoor ceremony.  And honestly, it was a blast!  The wedding party happily wiped down the seats for the outdoor ceremony minutes before guests arrived, and rain held off just long enough for the ceremony and a few more bride and groom portraits.  At the reception Sara smashed cake in James face and two of the bridesmaids teamed up to catch the bouquet.  Check it out in the pictures below!  Seriously, they were all so much fun.

Sara and James, congratulations!  You guys are such a blessing to those around you.
