Melissa and Daniel reached out to me earlier in the year to photograph their engagement pictures and also their wedding at The Olmsted. When they said that they wanted to take their engagement photos at The Silver Dollar, where they got engaged, I knew I would have a lot of fun with this couple! I love Kentuckians with a good appreciation of bourbon and laid back fun! Then, a couple of weeks ago I got to photograph their wedding at The Olmsted! I was incredibly excited about their wedding. The Olmsted is beautiful, old Masonic building in the historic Crescent Hill neighborhood of Louisville. Melissa and Daniel both looked classically elegant on their wedding, matching the decor and structural elements of the venue they got married in - do you understand the excitement now? It was all so, so beautiful. And SO fun! The entire wedding party and all the family members danced their hearts out the entire evening, there was an impromptu "Newsies" performance by Melissa and her sisters during the reception (and it was hilarious and amazing!!) and everyone begged the DJ to keep going after the last song was played. That is how to party, guys!
Congratulations Melissa and Daniel!
