I look forward to every. single. wedding. that I get to photograph. I love to see the bride’s vision for the day come to fruition and be there to witness and capture so many emotions and sweet moments of the day. However, to be honest, I was really excited about Adam and Megan’s wedding.
Adam is a member of the bluegrass band, The Biblehauser Brothers, and has friendships with many of the other local bands in the Louisville area. For the wedding, Adam and Megan basically just wanted a bluegrass festival. Which sounded amazing!!
Many of the details of Megan’s wedding day were DIY-ed, but she also had an impressive list of vendors that made the day possible, including Black Rooster Farm for fresh flowers that the bridesmaids assembled into bouquets themselves as well as The Common Table, which trains refugees, unemployed or underemployed people in the food service industry to help create successful and sustainable jobs for those people. Not only is The Common Table an incredible program, but they also made delicious food (Caribbean Jerk Chicken and Vegetarian Curry…sooooo good!)
Congratulations Adam and Megan! You guys are amazing! Thank you for letting me take a part in your wedding day!
