Hi guys! This fall has been so busy! Weddings, family photography, engagement sessions and occasional headshot sessions kept me pretty busy for the past two months, for which I’m incredibly grateful. I feel very blessed to have a job where I get to interact with so many different people and photograph so many beautiful moments. I’m gradually catching up with all the editing work from October (almost there!), which means, it’s time share another recent wedding with you all!
Kaylee and Garrett had the cutest barn wedding last month at Moonlit Farms in Palmyra, IN. Both of them love books and they intertwined this mutual interest into most of the details of their wedding day. They requested that I photograph their wedding rings with a Harry Potter book (raise your hands, HP fans!), created decor centerpieces for the ceremony and reception with books and pages from books. And it was cute!
Instead of doing a first look, Kaylee and Garrett wrote letters to each other and saw each other for the first time at the alter. The ceremony was held outside, in the woods near the barn reception area. It was so gorgeous and intimate, with string lights, personal prayers for one another and they even included their dog as an honorary groomsman.
Many of the guests and members of the wedding party were cross country team mates with Kaylee and Garrett in college, that shared tons of personal stories, inside jokes and cheers with the bride and groom that evening. But my favorite part of the reception might have been that Kaylee and Garrett did their first dance with their dog.
Enjoy the pictures, guys!
