"Do you retouch the photos?"

Something that I am frequently asked is if I retouch/edit/airbrush photos.  My answer is a big fat "Yes!"  But let me be clear:  I don't do plastic surgery!  Lol.  And if you forgot to iron your shirt before your session or wedding, I can't "iron" it for you via photoshop.  But, yes, I retouch my photos!

I love to keep things a natural as possible while editing, so I try to keep my editing style simple and clean.  I brighten, make colors "pop", and so on.  But, sometimes it's not enough.  Maybe your son cut his lip a couple days before the session.  Maybe your skin isn't as flawless as you hoped it would be on your wedding day.  I get it.  I've been there myself.  In fact, I took own children's photos just this past weekend and my beautiful red-headed daughter had an enormous GREEN bruise right between the eyes.  A week before I photographed the kids, she was giving "Big Fox" (our 4 ft stuffed animal fox) a piggy back ride through the house, when he slouched over her face and eyes and she ran into her little brother's bed running at full speed.  Oye.  I'm so glad I learned how to use Photoshop, guys!  Take a look at the before and after below, along with a couple of my favorite photos of her from this session.  I can't wait to share the rest of the photos with you guys!
